Push Platform Options
Vertek Light CPT trucks are designed to be an economical platform for obtaining CPT data. Because of the Light Truck's small size, it does not require special permits, licenses, or increased insurance costs. In most states and counties it can be licensed as a pickup truck. The combination of small size and light weight makes it easy to access tight spots while providing economical operation and maintenance.
Optional Configurations
The combination of a Vertek Push Platform with a puspose-built enclosed van body provides a vehicle designed for maximum production. It is fully enclose for operation in any weather and fully ballasted to reduce setup times. The enclosed van body creates a clean, bright, laboratory environment. All controls are placed within easy reach of the operator. It can be built on a conventional twin screw rear drive chassis, a 6x6 all wheel drive chassis, or on a number of tracked models. Van Body Options
- Aerodynamic nose cone for improved fuel economy and handling (cannot be used with AC unit)
- Generator and electrical wiring to provide self contained 120V power to operate other equipment
- Regular inverter or hybrid option for increased power demands
- Transfer switch for external power source
- Electronic governor to control engine speed during sounding
